Tess & Bruce

We just LOVE this color combination of yellow and blue! The yellow topaz 4x5 pocket fold is from Envelopments. We added an adorable daisy graphic and bling to the invitation that was printed on white linen. The RSVP postcard is done in willow blue and slips into the pocket.

Heather + Michael: Damask and Father Inspired

When a family friend of Heather's contacted me, I was booked for her wedding date. Over the following weeks, Lynda contacted me several times, and I don't want to say she begged, but yes - she begged me to do Heather's invitations. Something told me to take the order. I'm so thankful that I did because Heather and her mother have truly touched me emotionally over the past months.

The theme of Heather's wedding is the so-popular damask. That was the easy part. When it came to the wording though, it was so important for Heather to include her deceased father on the invitation. This is difficult to do without it sounding like her father is actually hosting. Then Heather told me the story of her father: "He was killed in a car accident 2 years ago and he had this little secret savings for my wedding. I found out after he passed away."

Heather's invitations are all white damask on black. These lavish boxed invitations are wrapped with a damask mailing sash addressed to each guest.

When the guest opens the box, they find a beautiful set wrapped in yards of thick hot pink ribbon. The cover piece is printed with damask and personalized for each guest.

The map is likely my favorite map of all time - printed in all white on black.

The RSVP cards are the only black printing on white in the suite. If I could have supplied the guests with a white pen, these would have been black too. :)

The RSVP envelopes are the other touch of hot pink in the set with the damask wrapping over the flap and hot pink and black custom damask stamps.

And finally, two custom damask stamps completed the look.

Jennifer + Randall: Vintage Wedding Dress Inspired

Jennifer originally contacted me design her invitation suite when she found my fleur de lis invitations. Her wedding will be in New Orleans and conveying that on the invitations was important to her.

But then she found her wedding dress - this amazing vintage gown. And her theme took a whole new turn.

So I combined the two themes - vintage and fleur de lis - and designed this gorgeous suite. The frame has subtle fleur de lis in each corner. The frame is designed not to fill the entire invitation. I love the look. Below the frame is a beautiful fleur de lis ornament.

Her RSVP cards were designed with the same frame and matching custom stamps.

We also included rehearsal dinner invitations for some of the guests.

The outer envelopes are stunning in a deep chocolate brown with wrap around envelope wraps. Fleur de lis custom stamps completed this gorgeous suite.

Who would have thought?

That a polar bear:

would make the fruit stamps look like a designer's dream? Even the "female genitalia papaya" looks better than a POLAR BEAR! ugh. Why does the post office do this?

So for all of my brides with weddings in the next year, the polar bear is your ONLY option through the post office for postcard postage. I see lots of custom postcard stamps in my future. ;)

Meret's Vintage Wedding Reception

Meret's wedding invitations became the dominant graphic on all of her reception pieces. I love the vintage frame and was able to highlight it and the graphic on nearly every piece.

Dana's Seating Chart

I worked solely with Donna, Dana's mother, on this project. In all of my years, I've never met a mom so genuinely excited for her daughter's wedding. She sent me her wedding invitations and I designed a circle & flower pattern, very similar to her invitations. I also had the same fonts and recreated her monogram that will be on everything at the wedding - including ice sculptures. :)

Lauren + Andrew: Nature and Fence Inspired

Lauren loved the idea of having nature inspired invitations for her wedding. We used deep green, cream, and brown in all non-metallic cardstocks to give it a more natural look. Lauren and Andrew are huge horseback riders. She didn't want horses on the invitations but sent along this photo of the two of them against a fence. I used this for inspiration for her invitations.

The invitation is printed so the fence and tree look aged.

The RSVP is my favorite with the fence flanking the bottom.

Only the tree is featured in deep brown on the rich green reception card.

I've had these vintage tree stamps for over 3 years and finally had an invitation to show them off!
