Nicole + Joseph: Vintage Lace Inspired

Nicole is a friend of one my past brides. There will be more about the connection in the coming months. :) Nicole's theme has always been lace and stripes in her amazing colors - Navy and Gold. Then Martha Stewart Weddings came out with an entire article on lace at your wedding, making this theme so popular. But I wanted to do something different and suggested real lace on her invitation.
I used French Cotton lace in a wide band around the center of the invitation. The background was designed with a lacey like graphic to give the invitation more depth and character.
We knew too that we wanted lace to wrap around the inserts. I added a gold band so the lace would "pop".
Using elements of the lacey graphic, I designed this pretty oval frame set on a gold stripe background. The envelopes were designed with the same frame and the custom stamps become part of the frame graphic.
Nicole also asked if I would design an insert for her welcome party. I used a gold insert and designed it with navy blue stripes to follow the theme.

Custom maps with a vintage car for the Dearborn Inn.
And the outer envelopes, with gold liners, are printed in navy blue with the same lacey design and custom stamps.

Melissa's Cherry Blossom Wedding Reception

Melissa's Cherry Blossom Wedding will be taking place at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit and is designed by Misty of Bells and Bliss. Her letterpress invitations were in a pretty lavendar and purple, but the reception will be pink and chocolate brown.

Pretty cardstock programs that also detail the Chinese Tea Ceremony

Nicole's Blue Damask Wedding Reception

Nicole's Blue Damask invitations were so much fun to design because each of her cards were all different in appearance. Nicole wanted the same feel for the bazillion signs at her reception. It's amazing all of the ways that the damask could be used!

Lauren + Erik: Rose Inspired

I love Lauren. She is one of my young hip brides and she described her and her fiance's style as funky. Lauren really liked Stacey's z-card invitations and wanted something similar in her lime green and navy color scheme.

The wedding ceremony will take place in a garden and Lauren wanted something floral, but very stylized and more "funky" to match their style.

The inserts are held in place with a double layer of apple green and deep blue ribbons.

The RSVP card is designed with their monogram and a piece of the rose graphic. The back side has a custom postage stamp.

The small insert in the front has hotel information for all of the guests.

A custom map was designed in the same green and blue.

I also designed separate rehearsal dinner and brunch invitations and also just brunch invitations for a few of the guests.

The outer envelopes are so gorgeous in lime green and navy print with a rose that becomes part of the stamp design.

Heather's Damask Wedding Reception

Heather's Black and White and Fuschia Damask wedding has become one of my most requested invitations. Her reception item pieces are sure to be just as popular. Hope you have your coffee ready because there are a ton. ;)

Black and Hot Pink Damask seating plan

Custom Watter Bottles! Heather was my first bride to request these waterproof water bottles. If you are one of my brides and thinking about water bottles as a favor or for your guests during an outdoor ceremony, let me know. These are professionally made and look just like bottles you'd buy at the store.

Favor Tags on black favor boxes. This is another new item for me. I now sell favor boxes!

Waterproof Signs - these will go on the metal tubs of water bottles and on the empties container. They are for outdoor use and completely waterproof.

Thank you sign that Heather is framing and will hold for a thank you card.

Danielle's Tiffany Blue Wedding Reception

Danielle's stripe invitations in Tiffany Blue and White were just the beginning of her beautiful suite. Danielle was my bride who asked me to design a program shaped like a fan! I love the way they turned out, especially the tons of strands of aqua and teal ribbon.

I also designed table numbers.

And of course, her seating chart - with a whopping 180 lines! wow

Kris + Jay: Damask Inspired

Kris' save the dates have become another very requested item for me. Kris originally wanted damask wedding invitations, but when we found this fleur de lis and swirl graphic, it was perfect.

The invitation is printed on a textured metallic cardstock and is a great way to add dimension

The graphic is the main focus on each of her pieces of this black and white wedding invitation.

I love how the swirl detail frames the return address on her RSVP postcard

And black envelopes with a printed envelope wrap complete the set.
