Lindsey's wedding, with Orchids as the decor and the theme, is super popular this year. Her colors of white, black and platinum is also very popular and the combination is stunning. It starts with her orchid seating chart.
Orchid program booklets tied with black ribbon.
Gorgeous black and orchid menus to be wrapped in napkins.
And monogrammed thank you cards with another or my favorite monograms.

Beth + Tom: Chicago Inspired
Beth contacted me when she found Heather's Chicago Skyline invitations. She was especially drawn to the Navy Pier Ferris wheel since her reception will be at the Navy Pier in Chicago
It was equally important to Beth to have the church, Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, to be a part of the invitations. I designed the church to match the same style as the Chicago skyline. If you recognize it, you're right. That is the church from the movie, "My Best Friend's Wedding"!
The RSVP card was designed with the entire skyline.
The reception card features just the ferris wheel of the Navy Pier.
The deep olive green envelopes have just the Sears Tower on the return address.

Susan + Robert: Mosaic Inspired
Incredibly, this wedding is being planned in 9 weeks by Laura Davis Events. Laura contacted me immediately to see if I was able to make invitations in about 2 week's time. I do love a challenge. ;) Laura sent me the inspiration for the colors (which will be held at Shiraz in Bingham Farms, Michigan). This amazing mosaic piece with the deep rust, oranges, and reds.
When I saw the mosaic and colors, I knew that I wanted to use a ton of color. This invitation has a whopping six colors, rust brown, oranges, yellows, bright red-orange. Then I painstakingly lined up varying pieces of cardstock to form this mosaic strip across the invitation.
If that wasn't enough, I layered the RSVP card and did another mosaic strip.
Matching custom postage stamps were designed.
The yellow outer envelopes are lined with bright orange and have another mosaic custom stamp.

Kate + Mike: Striped Tie inspired
I have been talking to Kate forever. I designed their magnet save the dates back last winter and I've been anticipating her invitations ever since. We designed something new, just for Kate. A gatefold with removable invitation and a wrap around sash that holds in the inserts. This is by far one of my favorite custom invitation. I love the functionality and how unexpected each part is for the guest to open.
The inspiration for these invitations came from the tie that Mike will wear on the wedding day. The navy and lime green colors are very fresh and modern.
Due to the long and narrow tea length invitation, I designed a stripe pattern of the deep blue and apple green for the top and bottom of the invitation. The invitation is removable and reveals the inserts.
The rsvp response postcard was designed with a monogram that was on every insert piece along with the stripes that carried through. Custom stamps because part of the design with the monogram on the stamp.
The kelly green reception cards were designed with a fun alternative for the times.
Custom maps were designed, again with the coordinating stripes and monogram.
When the invitation is closed, it is gorgeously wrapped in a custom designed sash wrap. The outer envelopes were a labor of love, that only Kate can fully appreciate ;), and were finished off with another custom stamp.

Taline + Hrag: Falling Petals Invitation
When Taline came to me last year, I knew I had a huge challenge ahead of me. Taline needed her invitations to be in English and Armenian. I've done dual language invitations before. I had even done Armenian and English invitations before. So the challenge? Taline is Sosi's sister and I obviously had to come up with something completely different for her wedding.
Taline had a clear vision for the invitation. She wanted an all black invitation printed with cream text and petals that looked like they were falling and wind swept. I then designed the armenian invitation as a belly band that is ivory with black printing and continues the fall petal design.
RSVP Postcards with a monogram.

Lisa + Ian: Green Damask Inspired Invitations
Lisa loved Melissa's brown and green damask invitations when I posted them last fall. Her color scheme even changed to chocolate and apple green after she saw the invitations.
I designed the graphic to have a brown outline which makes the graphic stand out even more.
The inserts were wrapped with lots of lime green ribbon in this crazy twist.
Custom stamps were designed to fit with the graphic.
And a new item - hand drawn maps! I just love the personalization with the caricatures and illustrated drawings of the venue.
Green envelopes were designed with a matching stamp and brown damask.
