I was more than excited when Laura Davis from Laura Davis Events contacted me to do this wedding. I had not worked with Laura before and now, 2 months later, I feel like I've known her for years. Any of my brides know that I get little sleep. Laura is one of the few people that I can email at 12:30 in the morning and get a response. :)
Shannon's wedding is the first wedding held at the MGM Casino Detroit. I designed Shannon's butterfly programs, table numbers and seating chart. I also made bar signs for her Martini Luge stations and the butler trays. The most unique item is her menus. There were a lot of requests on these and I designed something totally different than anything I've seen before. She wanted them to be a layered card, only one card, and to hold a ton of info. I created a trifold piece that contains the menu and a long write up on their donation favor. It folds up and is held closed with a sash that will be tucked in a napkin and accented with a flower.
