Shanelle + David: Detroit Inspired CD Invitations

When Shanelle saw Jennifer and Aamer's CD invitations, she knew she wanted something similar. I had a ton of fun working on this suite and the images from The Shooting Gallery photography made for the perfect pictures, all taken at the Detroit Institute of Arts. The reception will be held at The Charles Wright Museum of African American History and Detroit became the underlying theme of these invitations - including the song list.

The CD is professionally printed - no labels here! I designed a swirly monogram for the front that is carried through onto their other pieces. Shanelle and David are burning their favorite MoTown tunes onto the CDs.

The invitation is printed on the inside of the CD jacket. The jacket has a pocket to hold the CD and the rsvp card.

Postcard RSVP with custom stamps.

The back of the CD jacket has another amazing photo with a list of the songs.

The "title" of the CD flanks the spline of the jacket.

Machine calligraphy envelopes.
